| 1408408 Leading Aircraftman (No. 44 Rhodesia Squadron RAF pilot) Frank Burdett Prest (b.1921) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, died 19410831 and is buried at St. Michael churchyard, Waddington, Lincolnshire, England. Prest originally enlisted in the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps (P30334) at Winnipeg on the outbreak of the war but transferred to the RAF overseas. He was lost aboard a Hampden during pilot training. He was the son of Frank Bismark and Elsie Victoria Prest who homesteaded SE29-7-4-W2. Frank Jr. was born and took his early schooling at Arcola. |
