The New SVWM

Regular visitors to the SVWM will undoubtedly notice it looks significantly different than before.

Why the Change?

The SVWM has been around for many years. Back in 2012, it received its first major facelift — some 5 years ago! In cyber terms, that is an eternity! The Saskatchewan War Memorial Committee, which sponsors the site, felt it was time for a fresh look and feel. To that end, it has been redeveloped from the ground up. New visitors will find plenty of great information about the various conflicts Canada has engaged in, and those from Saskatchewan who perished in the process. Regular visitors will notice they can still find the same information as before, but perhaps accessed in a different way.

A Short Inconvenience

We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced during the switch from the old site to the new one. It was necessary to completely remove the old site before the new one could be installed. This took the better part of a day to complete. 

New Content

SVWM is always looking for new content for the site — whether it be images, narratives, biographies, or links to related sites. Just to wet your appetite, we’re currently negotiating for some great new content. It may take a while, as it must be gathered, sifted through, formatted, and finally, added to the site.
