| R94722 Flight Sergeant (RCAF wireless air gunner) Constantine (Sam) Toronczuk (b.1917) of Radville died 19420811 and is buried at St. Andrew churchyard, Cranwell, Lincolnshire, England. Toronczuk's Wellington crashed at Cranwell on a training flight from No. 22 Operational Training Unit. He was the son of John and Annie (Calibal) Toronczuk who came to Regina from Romania and moved to Radville about 1934 to farm. Sam was educated at Haultain school and Balfour Tech and was farming with his family when he enlisted at Regina early in 1941. |
