Narrative history
  257939 Private (16th Battalion, Manitoba Regiment) Alexander Wilson (b.1889) of Regina was KIA 19181001 at Abancourt and is buried at Sancourt British cemetery northwest of Cambrai, Nord, France. He was the son of Harry Wilson of Walkerton, Bruce Co., Ontario. Alexander was working as a painter when he was drafted early in 1918.
