Narrative history
  R100606 Warrant Officer 2 (No. 428 Ghost Squadron RCAF wireless air gunner) Walter Leonard (Buster) Cogger (b.1914) of Toronto, Ontario, was KIA 19430818 and is buried at Berlin 1939-45 war cemetery, Charlottenburg, Germany. Cogger's Halifax was shot down at Griefswald during a night raid on the rocket pens at Peenemunde. He was the son of Alfred, a Barr colonist, and Alice (Dare) Cogger and left a wife Verna Mae (Scriver) and daughter Lynne Marie at Hastings, Northumberland Co., Ontario. Buster was born and educated at Prince Albert and was working as a surveyor out of Toronto when he enlisted there early in 1941.

MB Murphy died on the same flight.
