Narrative history
  39012 Flight Lieutenant (No. 217 Squadron RAF Hudson pilot) Keith Fergus Arnold DFC (b.1911) of Saskatoon was KIA 19410725 and is buried at St. Eval churchyard, Cornwall, England. Arnold joined the RAF in 1936 and died in a crash between the Mull of Kintyre and Prestwick, Scotland. Keith left a wife Mary at London.

Brother of VC Arnold. They were the sons of Harold Watson (Harry) and Eva Mary (Martin) Arnold who came from England in 1908. They homesteaded SE28-29-24-W3 west of Kindersley where both boys were born. Harry, who rose to the rank of major in World War I, lost his sons within a span of five weeks.

There is no published citation for his Distinguished Flying Cross (early 1941) other than for gallantry and devotion to duty in the execution of air operations.
