Narrative history
  703663 Lance Corporal (102nd Battalion, Central Ontario Regiment) John Edward McNally (b.1895) of Saanichton, British Columbia, was KIA 19170613 and is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial north of Arras, Pas-de-Calais, for the 11,000+ Canadian soldiers who perished in northern France with no known grave. He was the son of James William and Mary Ellen McNally. John was born at Ottawa, Ontario, and was a rancher when he enlisted at Victoria early in 1916.
