Narrative history
  K270515 Flight Sergeant (No. 550 Squadron RAF air gunner) William Henry Cook (b.1924) of Moose Jaw was KIA 19450203 and is buried at Westerbeek Roman Catholic cemetery, Oploo, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands. Cook's Lancaster was shot down during a raid on Bottrop. He was the son of Ernest George, a civil servant, and Mary Louise (Davidson) Cook. William was born at Moose Jaw, educated at Ross school and Central collegiate and was working as a porter for CP Express when he enlisted at Regina in 1943.
