Narrative history
  255825 Private (46th Battalion, Saskatchewan Regiment) (Charles) Foster McCargar Scott (b.1896) of Moose Jaw was KIA 19171026 at Passchendaele and is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial at Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium, which bears the names of 55,000 men who were lost without trace during the defence of the Ypres Salient in the First World War. He was the son of Walter and Nora Scott who came to Mortlach from Winchester, Dundas Co., Ontario. Foster was a student at Moose Jaw college when he enlisted at Moose Jaw in 1916.
