No. 23 Elementary Flying Training School (Davidson):
by Bruce Forsyth (www.militarybruce.com), with permission
Opened near Davidson on 9 November 1942 under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. The school re-located to Yorkton in January 1945.
From 1957-1968, the abandoned runways were used as a racetrack for sports car and motorcycle racing.
All that remains of the aerodrome are the abandoned runways and the hangar pads. One of the hangars was moved to the town of Vonda for use as a community ice rink.
