| 158338 Captain (No. 439 Tiger Squadron RCAF pilot) Alexe Steinborn Ivan (Al) Andree (b.1942) of Regina was killed 19680625 and is buried at Choloy war cemetery, Meurthe-et-Moselle west of Nancy, France. Andree was based at No. 1 Wing, Lahr, Germany, when his CF-104 Starfighter crashed in a valley. Al was the son of Alfons and Hazel May (Berkey) Andree and left a wife Mary (Jennings) and son Christopher. He was born at Regina and enlisted at Centralia, Huron Co., Ontario, early in 1961. |
