| Cabin Steward (SS Derrynane out of London) Richard John Kreisch of Regina was KIA 19410212 and is commemorated on the Halifax Memorial for merchant mariners lost or buried at sea. The Derrynane was sunk by the German battlecruiser Admiral Hipper on a voyage from Mozambique to London with a cargo of iron ore. Derrynane Bay is in Kerry, southwestern Ireland. |
