Narrative history
  R107172 Warrant Officer 2 (No. 50 Squadron RAF air gunner) James Joseph Zunti (b.1916) of Luseland was KIA 19431123 and is buried at Berlin 1939-45 war cemetery, Charlottenburg, Germany. Zunti's Lancaster was lost during a raid on the German capital. He was the son of Jacob and Mary (Brundler) Zunti, a Swiss couple who homesteaded SE21-37-24-W3 southeast of Donegal in 1906. James was born on the homestead, educated at Deer Lodge school and farmed with his family. He spent two years as an agriculture student at the University of Saskatchewan before enlistung at Saskatoon in 1941.
