Narrative history
  L84107 Sergeant (Canadian Army Basic Training Centre instructor) Hugh Wilson (b.1898) of Qu'Appelle, where he is buried, died 19431026. Wilson was killed and nine other soldiers injured when the vehicle in which they were passengers overturned near Maple Creek. Wilson served in the Royal Scots Fusiliers during the first war. He was the son of John Wilson of Kirkcudbright, Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland, and left a wife Ruth Belvedere and son Malcolm Hugh at Qu'Appelle. Hugh was a farmer and dairyman when he re-enlisted at Regina early in 1942.
