| J90424 Pilot Officer (No. 48 Squadron RAF pilot) David Arthur Webb (b.1922) of Fairmount was KIA 19440921 and is buried at Zeeland Roman Catholic churchyard, Zeeland, Netherlands. Webb's Dakota was shot down over Arnheim during a supply flight. He was the son of John Arthur (Dick) and Sarah Edith (Baxter) Webb who homesteaded SW4-28-24-W3 southwest of Kindersley. John came from the London, England, borough of Ealing in 1909 and crafted the name for the Ealingford school, which his son attended. David was working for the Bank of Commerce when he enlisted. |
