Narrative history
  L107613 Private (Seaforth Highlanders) David Wallace Stickley (b.1924) of Tisdale was KIA 19440918 and is buried at Coriano Ridge war cemetery west of Riccione, Forli, Italy. Stickley was killed at San Fortunato during the advance to Rimini. He was the son of Harry and Anne Mabel (Brown) Stickley who came from England to homestead SW34-42-14-W2 southeast of Sylvania and later moved to Blueberry Creek, British Columbia. David was born at Tisdale and worked as a labourer for Cominco at Trail for a few months before enlisting at Regina late in 1943.
