Narrative history
  L53408 Trooper (14th Canadian Hussars) Kay King Silvius (b.1918) of Walpole was KIA 19440802 during the push to Falaise and is buried at Bény-sur-Mer Canadian war cemetery near Reviers, Calvados, France. He was the son of Irvin Henry and Etha Mae Silvius who came to Walpole from Iowa. Kay was born at Fairlight and was farming when he enlisted at Regina early in 1941.
