Narrative history
  R115711 Leading Aircraftman (RCAF aero engine mechanic) Russell Herman Shults (b.1919) of Nipawin died 19421214 and is buried at Ravine Bank cemetery near Nipawin. Shults' Bolingbroke crashed in the Qu'Appelle valley west of Lumsden during a routine air frame and engine test flight from No. 2 Bombing & Gunnery School, Mossbank. He was the son of Glendyn Cecil and Ella (Peters) Shults. Russell was born at Dundurn, educated at Nipawin and was farming and doing garage work when he enlisted at Saskatoon in 1941.

RE Habkirk and HA Lightle died on the same flight.
