Narrative history
  H17025 Private (Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry) Dan Serhon (b.1921) of Rama died 19440124 of wounds received a week earlier and is buried at Moro River Canadian war cemetery, Ortona, Chieti, Italy. He was the son of Joseph and Tekla (Kresak) Serhon who were both born in Galicia (Ukraine), and Dan and his siblings attended Boxmoor school southeast of Invermay. Dan was working as a carpenter for a Yorkton based construction company when he enlisted at Winnipeg, Manitoba, early in 1940.
