Narrative history
  J51728 Flying Officer (RCAF pilot) (Theodore) Alwyn Seeman (b.1915) of Theodore died 19460728 and is buried at Brookside cemetery, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Seeman enlisted as an instrument technician and worked installing Link trainers, etc., but transferred to aircrew for training as a pilot early in 1945. Seeman's Harvard crashed near Cyrville, Ontario, on a practice flight from AFHQ at Uplands, Ottawa. He was the only son of Waldo Theodore and Edith Violet (Foster) Seeman who farmed at Theodore. He was a grandson of the man who named the Theodore post office, and left a wife Ruth Isobel (Larmour) at Ottawa (she was a native of Winnipeg). Alwyn was educated at Theodore and Yorkton collegiate and was farming with his family when he enlisted at Regina in 1937.
