| R75116 Warrant Officer 2 (No. 97 Squadron RAF air gunner) Allen Jeremiah (Jerry) McPhee (b.1919) of Saskatoon was KIA 19420714 and is buried at St. Mary churchyard, Great Bircham, Norfolk, England. McPhee's Lancaster ditched four miles east of Wells. He was the son of James Allen and Gladys Emma (Desjardin) McPhee of Vancouver, British Columbia. Jerry was born at Halkirk, Alberta, educated at Victoria school and Nutana collegiate and was working as a salesman when he enlisted at Saskatoon late in 1940. His brother Stewart served with the Navy. |
