| L65659 Rifleman (Regina Rifles) William Hugh Lynn Jr. (b.1919) of Strasbourg died 19441117 in the Nijmegen salient and is buried at Groesbeek Canadian war cemetery near Nijmegen, Gelderland, Netherlands. Lynn and Rfn M Connell suffocated when their dugout collapsed on them overnight near Groverbeek. He was the son of William Hugh and Mary (Stirling) Lynn who came from Antrim, Ireland, to farm near Duval. William Jr. was working as a drayman when he enlisted at Regina early in 1942. |
