| L106653 Private (Lanark & Renfrew Scottish Regiment) Wallace Edgar (Wally) Lunt (b.1924) of Loon Lake was KIA 19440924 near Rimini and is buried at Cesena war cemetery, Forli, Italy. He was the son of Samuel Alfred and Cecil Harriett (Arnold) Lunt. Alfred came from England to farm in the Kelfield district and work at the local drug store, and moved his family to Loon Lake during the 1930s. Wally was driving truck when he enlisted at Regina in 1943. |
