| R102352 Sergeant (RCAF wireless air gunner) Henry Roy Leadley (b.1922) of Frys just east of Redvers died 19430127 and is buried at Terrace Hill cemetery, Truro, Colchester Co., Nova Scotia. Leadley's Hudson crashed on landing at Debert on a training flight from No. 31 Operational Training Unit. He was the son of George Henry, a CP section foreman, and Elizabeth (Colvin) Leadley. Henry was born at Pierson, Manitoba, educated at Hirsch and Moosomin and was a student when he enlisted at Regina in 1941. |
