Narrative history
  Major (77th Battery, 3 Field Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery) Reginald Townsend Lang (b.1908) of Saskatoon died 19431217 of wounds received tswo days earlier and is buried at Moro River Canadian war cemetery, Ortona, Chieti, Italy. He was the son of Mary R.G. Owen of Babylon, Suffolk Co., New York. Reginald was educated at Moose Jaw and the University of Saskatchewan and operated a decorating business at Saskatoon from 1929, leaving a wife Alice Gwenllyn (Griffiths) and a son Barry and daughter Shirley who later moved to Ottawa, Ontario. He enlisted at Saskatoon six days before Canada declared war.
