Narrative history
  R182511 Flight Sergeant (No. 218 Gold Coast Squadron RAF air gunner) George Labiuk (b.1921) of Kalyna was KIA 19430623 over Mulheim and is buried at Amsterdam New Eastern cemetery, Noord-Holland, Netherlands. Labiuk's Stirling went down off the coast of Belgium. He was the son of John and Elizabeth (Kowaluk) Labiuk who came from Ukraine to homestead NW16-50-23-W2 south of Meath Park. George attended Kalyna school and was farming with his family when he enlisted at Saskatoon in 1942.
