Narrative history
  L53445 Corporal (14th Canadian Hussars) Clarence John Kvamme (b.1921) of Viceroy was KIA 19440830 near Elbeuf and is buried at Bretteville-sur-Laize Canadian war cemetery, Calvados, France. He was the son of John and Gudrud Emelie Kvamme who homesteaded NW25-5-26-W2 on Willow Bunch Lake south of Viceroy and later moved to Dafoe. Clarence was farming and truck driving when he enlisted at Regina early in 1941.
