Narrative history
  K57582 Private (Canadian Scottish Regiment) (Bernard) Merlyn Krislock (b.1921) of Melville was KIA 19450209 during operations to clear the west bank of the Rhine and is buried at Groesbeek Canadian war cemetery near Nijmegen, Gelderland, Netherlands. He was the son of Bernard and Marjory Krislock, Bernard came from Hegsa, Norway, to Melville to work for CN in 1918. Merlyn was born at Atwater and was farming when he enlisted at Victoria, British Columbia, in 1940.
