Narrative history
  L66576 Corporal (King's Own Rifles) Franklin George (Frank) Kirkpatrick (b.1918) of Truax, where he is buried, died 19440707. An Army instructor, Kirkpatrick died at Shaughnessy hospital, Vancouver, of a cerebral thrombosis after a lengthy illness. He was the son of Roy Franklin and Stella Scholastica (Riebel) Kirkpatrick who came to the Truax district from Sandyville, Warren Co., Iowa, in 1906. Frank attended Sanderson school and was an electrician when he enlisted at Regina in 1942.
