Narrative history
  L86971 Lance Sergeant (South Saskatchewan Regiment) Carman Dominic Killian (b.1918) of Dunleath was KIA 19440720 at Verrières Ridge and is buried at Bretteville-sur-Laize Canadian war cemetery, Calvados, France. He was the son of Pearl Ethel Flynn of Stove Creek northeast of Lintlaw. Carman was born at Colgate and was farming east of Yorkton when he enlisted at Regina early in 1942, leaving a wife Margaret Anne (she later remarried as Mrs. Geddes).
