| J9738 Flying Officer (No. 199 Squadron RAF wireless air gunner) Robert Joseph Keyes (b.1918) of Regina was KIA 19430213 and is buried at Guidel communal cemetery, Morbihan, France. Keyes' Wellington failed to return from operations. He was the son of Robert James and Regina DeSales (Kilty) Keyes who came from Stillwater, Washington Co., Minnesota. Robert was born at Regina, graduated from Central collegiate and Campion college and was working as a clerk for Trianon when he enlisted at Regina late in 1940. |
