| J20896 Flying Officer (No. 409 Nighthawk Squadron RCAF navigator) Thomas Causon Kewen (b.1923) of Saskatoon died 19440809 and is buried at Brookwood military cemetery near London, England. Kewen's Mosquito lost an engine and crashed at Hunsdon, Hertfordshire. He was the son of Joseph, also on active service, and Emily Jane (Causon) Kewen who later moved to Toronto. Thomas was born at Eastbourne, East Sussex, England, and came to Saskatoon as a boy of four. He was a graduate of Princess Alexandra school and Saskatoon Tech and was a student when he enlisted late in 1941. |
