Narrative history
  J22310 Flying Officer (No. 137 Squadron RAF pilot) Ralph Alexander (Duke) Johnstone (b.1922) of Moose Jaw was KIA 19440727 and is buried at Brookwood military cemetery near London, England. Johnstone's Typhoon collided with another over Denton Court, Kent. He was the son of William Henry and Clara Irene (Lillico) Johnstone who came from Ontario to operate Johnstone Dairies and moved to Manitou Beach during the war. Duke attended Cobourg, Victoria and Ross schools and Moose Jaw Tech and was a buttermaker for the family firm when he enlisted at Regina in 1941.
