Narrative history
  L105571 Rifleman (Royal Winnipeg Rifles) Russel Rudolph Isbister (b.1918) of Mont Nebo was KIA on D-Day 19440606 and is buried at Bény-sur-Mer Canadian war cemetery near Reviers, Calvados, France. He was the son of William Joseph Dreaver and Ada (Ahenakew) Isbister who homesteaded SE1-51-8-W3 north of Shell Lake. Russel left a wife Helen Marjorie Phyllis (Robinson) and daughter Velma Darlene. He was born at Ahtahkakoop and was a farm labourer when he enlisted at Regina early in 1943.
