  M56232 Private (Seaforth Highlanders) Michael John (Mike) Gramiak (b.1924) of Ibstone was KIA 19430721 and is buried at Agira Canadian war cemetery, Enna, Sicily, Italy. He was the son of Nicholas and Annie Gramiak who came from Horodenka, Ukraine, where Mike was born, to farm in the Ibstone district south of Battleford. Mike was farming when he enlisted (underage) at Edmonton early in 1942.
