Narrative history
  L102546 Lance Sergeant (Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders) John Anthony (Jack) Glavin (b.1921) of Lakenheath was KIA 19450420 at Groningen during the liberation of the Netherlands and is buried at Holten Canadian war cemetery, Overijssel, Netherlands. He was the son of Patrick Antony and Ellen Glavin who came from Ontario to NW33-6-2-W3 south of Limerick in 1920. Jack was farming when he enlisted at Regina late in 1942. His brother Fred also served in the Army overseas.
