| L93502 Private (Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps) Robert Charles (Bob) Garner (b.1923) of Weyburn was KIA 19440729 and is buried at Brookwood military cemetery near London, England. Garner perished at Dagenham, Essex, in an enemy air raid. He was the son of Chester James, a garage owner, and Dency Cecile Garner. Robert was a driver mechanic foe Weyburn Motors when he enlisted at Regina late in 1942. His brother Richard was also with Ordnance while brother Herbert was in the Navy. |
