| L67636 Private (South Saskatchewan Regiment) Trygve Furulie (b.1912) of Halbrite was KIA 19440720 at Verrières Ridge and is buried at Bretteville-sur-Laize Canadian war cemetery, Calvados, France. He was the son of Aslak and Andrine Furulie who came from Molde, More, Norway. Trygve farmed with his family and also spent two years as a messman at the BCATP school at Mossbank before enlisting at Regina early in 1943. |
