Narrative history
  R170220 Sergeant (No. 427 Lion Squadron RCAF air gunner) James Leonard Fletcher (b.1923) of North Battleford was KIA 19430818 and is buried at Berlin 1939-45 war cemetery, Charlottenburg, Germany. Fletcher's Halifax was shot down at Wusterhausen near Monchen-Gladbach. He was the son of Bertram and Jennie (South) Fletcher who came from Cheshire, England. James was born at Togo and was a student and a delivery boy for Craigs when he enlisted at Saskatoon in 1942.
