Narrative history
  J18062 Pilot Officer (No. 405 City of Vancouver Pathfinder Squadron RCAF air gunner) Thomas Henry Navin (Harry) Emerson DFM (b.1918) of Moose Jaw was KIA 19430714 and is buried at Jonkerbos war cemetery near Nijmegen, Gelderland, Netherlands. Emerson's Halifax crashed at Venlo during a raid on Aachen, Germany. He had flown 36 missions and was just beginning his second tour. He was the son of Thomas James KC and Josephine C. (Navin) Emerson. Thomas Jr. had been a banker but was working as a lab assistant for Robin Hood when he enlisted at Regina in 1941.

DL Wolfe died on the same flight.

Distinguished Flying Medal citation (posthumous):
Throughout all his sorties this airman has displayed exceptional ability as an air gunner. Many of his missions have been completed in the face of intense opposition. Throughout all his operations he has invariably shown high courage and devotion to duty.
