Narrative history
  J95220 Pilot Officer (No. 101 Squadron RAF air gunner) Edmund Alfred John (Freddie) Davies (b.1925) of Saskatoon was KIA 19441217 in a crash at Albeck and is buried at Durnbach war cemetery near Bad Tolz, Germany. Davies' Lancaster was involved in a night raid on Ulm. He was the son of Edmund Alfred, a teacher, and Elsie (Thomas) Davies who came from Bargoed, Caerphilly, Wales, prior to 1930. Freddie attended Westmount school and Saskatoon Tech and was a student when he enlisted at Saskatoon in 1943.

RE Hine and GE Deatherage died on the same flight.
