| J27493 Flying Officer (No. 514 Squadron RAF navigator) James Terence Daly (b.1922) of Regina was KIA 19440729 and is buried at Choloy war cemetery, Meurthe-et-Moselle west of Nancy, France. Daly's Lancaster was missing during a night attack on Stuttgart, Germany. He was the son of Michael Joseph and Bertha Evelyn (Wall) Daly who came from Ireland to farm near Dilke. James was a graduate of Campion college and completed a BA (Université de Montréal) just before enlisting at Regina in 1942. |
