  J21189 Flying Officer (No. 434 Bluenose Squadron RCAF Halifax navigator) Richard Clifford Crompton (b.1923) of Regina was KIA 19440129 and is buried at Berlin 1939-45 war cemetery, Charlottenburg, Germany. He was the son of Richard and Edith (Holmes) Crompton who came from Brighton, Lancashire, England. Richard Jr. was born at Regina, was a graduate of Central collegiate and was working as a clerk for British American Oil when he enlisted at Regina early in 1942.
