Narrative history
  R147647 Flight Sergeant (No. 12 Squadron RAF air gunner) Maurice Emile Combres (b.1920) of Richard was KIA 19430704 and is buried at Heverlee war cemetery, Leuven, Brabant, Belgium. Combres' Lancaster went missing during a night raid on Cologne, Germany. He was the son of Ernest-Pierre-Jean and Emilie Combres who came from Aveyron, Midi-Pyrenées, France. Maurice was born and educated at Richard and was farming with his family when he enlisted at Saskatoon early in 1942.
