Narrative history
  L155867 Trooper (31st Alberta Reconnaissance Regiment driver) John Frederick (Jack) Clark (b.1909) of Fir Mountain died 19451125 and is buried at Khedive cemetery. While on unpaid compassionate harvest leave, Clark was driving a truck which overturned near Mankota in the wee hours of 21 November (he was impaired). After treatment at Kincaid hospital he was sent by ambulance to Regina military hospital where he died of a sub-dural haemorrhage. He was the son of James R. and Margaret Clark of Prince Albert. Jack was born at Yellow Grass and worked as a mechanic at Fir Mountain for eight years before being called up for NRMA service at Regina in 1942; he transferred to regular force at Nanaimo, British Columbia, late in 1944.
