Narrative history
  R114787 Flight Sergeant (No. 106 Squadron RAF air gunner) Edward Blake (Ted) Clampitt (b.1914) of Woodrow was KIA 19430312 and is buried at Reichswald Forest war cemetery, Kleve, Germany. Clampitt's Lancaster was shot down during a bombing raid on Dusseldorf. His family came from Liverpool, Merseyside, England, to Moosomin in 1893, settling at S15-9-6-W3 north of Woodrow in 1907. He was the son of Franklin Ryle and Barbara Josephine (Reid) Clampitt. Ted attended McCarter school and was teaching at Spring school near Wymark when he enlisted at Regina in 1941.
