| R120674 Flight Sergeant (RCAF air gunner) Russell George Causier (b.1923) of Regina died 19421214 and is buried at Stratford-upon-Avon cemetery, Warwickshire, England. Russ Causier and Bob James were childhood friends in Regina (both attended Herchmer school and Scott collegiate) and died in a Wellington crash at Warwick on a training flight from No. 22 Operational Training Unit. Ed Lasby, another Regina boy, died in the same incident. Russ, who enlisted before he finished high school, was the son of Albert Henry, a garage owner, and Florence Elizabeth (Russell) Causier. |
