Narrative history
  J90931 Pilot Officer (No. 115 Squadron RAF air gunner) Robert William Burdell (Bud) Carey (b.1924) of Estevan was KIA 19440730. Carey's Lancaster was shot down over Caen and he is buried at Bretteville-sur-Laize Canadian war cemetery, Calvados, France. His parents Robert William (Bob), a veteran, and Alice (Godfrey) Carey came from Derbyshire, England, to farm at 13-2-8-W2 just southeast of Estevan in 1923. Bud was born on the farm and was working as a delivery boy for a butcher shop when he enlisted at Regina early in 1943.

JM Lonie and CA Thompson died on the same flight.
