Narrative history
  L102988 Sergeant (Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Highlanders) Arthur Lucien Brunelle (b.1921) of Albertville was KIA 19440906 during the siege of Calais and is buried at Calais Canadian war cemetery, Leubringhen, Pas-de-Calais, France. Brunelle's family came from Michigan to Prince Albert in 1903, and his parents Henri and Rose homesteaded SW14-51-24-W2 kitty-corner to the Emilebury school in 1914. Arthur was working as a mechanic when he enlisted at Regina late in 1942.
