Narrative history
  L106925 Private (Seaforth Highlanders) Thomas Albert Paul Briggs (b.1917) of Maple Creek was KIA 19450414 during the liberation of the Netherlands and is buried at Holten Canadian war cemetery, Overijssel, Netherlands. He was the son of William and Minnie (Tescmke) Briggs who homesteaded NW36-8-30-W3 near Fort Walsh. Thomas worked as a drayman for Canadian Pacific Express and left a wife Louise (Thomas) who later moved to Havre, Montana. His brothers Edward and Russell also served.
